In pre-qualifying for the British Grand Prix, on the historic Silverstone circuit, the best time of the day was set by Jorge Martinwho with a time of 1:57.911 immediately made it clear that he was the favourite candidate for tomorrow’s pole position. At this point in the weekend, however, what really matters is secure direct access to Q2 of tomorrow.
In addition to the Spaniard from the Prima-Pramac team, his main competitors in the world championship also succeeded: Pecco Bagnaia (author of the third time) and Marc MárquezThe eight-time world champion, however, narrowly missed out with the tenth fastest time.
Direct entry into the most important qualifying phase also for the Ducatis of Bastianini, Di Giannantonio and Bezzecchi, for the KTMs of Miller and Binder and for the Aprilias of Aleix Espargaro (excellent second) and Vinales. Franco Morbidelli and Pedro Acosta, among others, will have to go through Q1.
