No more Alltrack, the adventurous version of the new Volkswagen Caddy is now called PanAmericana.
The Volkswagen Caddy welcomes an adventurous off-road version, with a reinforced body that can take an extra beating. The off-road treatment combines synthetic elements (the bumpers, wheel arch covers and side rubbing strips) with chrome design details (the skid plates under the nose and buttocks, the side trims and the roof rails). But there is no question of a raised body, even the 4Motion four-wheel drive remains optional (and then only on the short version, in combination with the manual gearbox). The Alltrack name that Wolfsburg also uses for the VW Golf will disappear. The VW Caddy PanAmericana mainly wants to show that it is tough, but still prefers the asphalt over unpaved terrain.
You can order the Volkswagen Caddy PanAmericana as a Life and as a Cargo, so for passenger transport or as a delivery van. You can choose between the 115 hp 1.5 TSI and the 2.0 TDI, which is available with 102 and 122 hp. You can switch with a manual six-speed gearbox or with a robotized DSG seven-speed dual clutch.
