Ciudad Juárez.- As part of the “Digital Villages” program carried out by Alibaba Group and the Ministry of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE), 20 students from the Paso del Norte Technological University (UTPN) received certification in Global Digital Transformation (GDT). English).
This initiative of the Chinese consortium and the State Government aims to encourage electronic commerce in the entity, as well as its confidence among the population.
Since the beginning of the year, students of the International Logistics Engineering and Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Project Management have participated in training, diploma courses and conferences on topics such as: digital economy, artificial intelligence, virtual business models, logistics, digital marketing and social media management.
As part of the activity, four “digital villages” were established at the UT Paso del Norte, made up of five members each, which were assigned to collaborate with one of the following microenterprises: “Galletas J&C” and “TT Tukari” in Ciudad Juárez, “Agrointerra” in the municipality of Ascensión and “Granja Amanecer” in Gómez Farías.
In these businesses, university students carried out improvement projects for inventory processes, as well as online sales through the website www.alibaba.com and digital tools such as WhatsApp Business to maintain direct contact with the customer.
