Yesterday, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced that 274,480 new examinations were conducted, in line with its plan to expand and increase the scope of examinations in the country, with the aim of discovering and counting cases infected with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) and those in contact with it and isolating them.
The intensification of investigation procedures and the expansion of the scope of examinations at the state level contributed to the detection of 1,410 new infections with the emerging coronavirus of different nationalities, bringing the total number of registered cases to 692,964 cases.
The ministry also announced the death of four people from the repercussions of infection with the virus, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 1975 cases.
She expressed her regret and condolences to the families of the deceased, and her wishes for a speedy recovery for all the injured, calling on community members to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to instructions and adhere to social distancing to ensure the health and safety of all.
The Ministry also announced the recovery of 1,399 new cases of people infected with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), and their full recovery from symptoms of the disease, after receiving the necessary health care.
Thus, the total number of recovery cases is 669,953 cases, and the Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced the provision of 15,649 new doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine, bringing the total doses it provided, until yesterday, to 17 million and 113 thousand and three doses, and the rate of vaccine distribution. 173.03 doses per 100 people.
This comes in line with the Ministry’s plan to provide a “Covid-19” vaccine to citizens and residents, and in an effort to reach the acquired immunity resulting from vaccination, which helps control the virus.
