The company 123 Milhas created a website, at the request of the Minas Gerais Court, to gather data on all injured consumers and with amounts to receive, due to travel packages sold but not made available.
The website will receive all documents that prove the purchases made by consumers, such as, for example, the email with the approved payment, card invoice, email from the company confirming the purchase of the package, etc. The clients must click here to enter the website.
The company has been in the process of judicial recovery since August 2023. Recently, the court ordered the resumption of the process, which had been suspended in January 2024. More than 800 thousand customers were harmed by the company in an amount that could reach R $2 billion.
The Procon-SP Foundation, which in December last year joined as Amicus Curiae in the company’s judicial recovery process, announced that it will submit a request for all data from consumers who registered complaints at the time and which have already been sent for judicial recovery, are also included on the aforementioned website.
In Procon-SP’s understanding, this measure is important so that consumers who have already registered their complaints with the agency at the time do not have to redo the entire procedure, in addition to considering the possibility that they may not be informed about the new website and, therefore, miss deadlines or be excluded from the process.
