Running at night inside the two ovals like every Saturday of training at the Ranch, the Americana closes the day of day-1 of the seventh edition of the 100km of Champions. To cross the finish line first is Luca Marini followed by Valentino Rossi and Celestino Vietti. Fourth Stefano Manzi protagonist of a crash in the final heat. Luca Marini also scores the best horn in the afternoon qualifying that decree the starting grid for tomorrow’s race. Second time for Valentino Rossi who, paired with Marini, will start from the first box of the grid. Followed by the couple formed by Elia Bartolini and Stefano Manzi, third Marco Bezzecchi with his partner Andrea Migno.
Forty-two riders are enrolled in the seventh edition of the 100km of Champions and forming the 21 pairs that will start tomorrow. Many names were present, including Maverick Vinales and Alex Rins, already guests of the Ranch in the past and Jorge Lorenzo and Jeremy McGrath on their first passage on the MotoRanch track. Tomorrow’s program, Sunday 5 December, foresees the start of track activities at 12.00 with the warm-up followed by the start of the race at 14:00.
