The Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition, organized by the ADNEC Group, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, witnessed the signing of 13 deals on its second day. And 8 memorandums of understanding between government and private agencies, with a total value of more than 544 million dirhams.
The exhibition, which is held in conjunction with the eighth session of the Abu Dhabi Dates Exhibition, which is held in partnership with the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation, and concludes its activities tomorrow at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, included the launch of many new products and innovations, bringing the total exhibition deals in the first and second days to more than 1.85 billion dirhams, distributed over 44 deals.
The second day of the exhibition witnessed the signing of 3 deals by Abu Dhabi Police with each of the Capital Hospitality Company of the ADNEC Group, at a value of 3 million dirhams, another deal with Abu Dhabi National Hotels, at a value of 45 million dirhams, and another deal with the Royal Horizon Company, at a value of 18 million dirhams.
The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority also signed two deals today, with a total value of about 460 million dirhams.
The Capital Hospitality Company, affiliated to the ADNEC Group, concluded 9 deals with a total value of 18,300,000 dirhams. 800 thousand dirhams with the “Elite Agro Holding” group, and a deal with Hatov Trading and Distribution Company with a total value of 1 million and 500 thousand dirhams, in addition to a deal worth 9 million dirhams with Union Foods, in addition to a deal worth one million dirhams with Ahmed Ali Company, and a deal worth 2 million dirhams with Mirak, and another deal with “Lavazza” worth 500 thousand dirhams.
As for the Abu Dhabi Authority for Agriculture and Food Safety, it announced today the signing of 3 memoranda of understanding among the 8 memorandums of understanding that were signed during the activities of the second day of the exhibition, while the other memorandums of understanding included a memorandum of understanding concluded between the Abu Dhabi Chamber and the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development.
The exhibition also witnessed the distribution of awards to the winners of the “Adive Awards for Innovation”, which is considered a platform that allows displaying the world’s most innovative and distinguished products in the food and beverage sector, as it provides visitors with the opportunity to keep pace with new global trends, realizing the role of investing in innovation in shaping the future of the sector. Participation in the Adev Awards for Innovation, especially for exhibitors, is supervised by experts from specialized agencies and a jury specialized in the sector, to provide unique opportunities to present new products to thousands of attendees.
These awards were won by a group of world-renowned chefs, Ashmoun Holistic, in the competition for the most innovative product of honey and dates products, while Novaroz won the most innovative product category in the food and beverage category, while Samira Maatouk won for the most innovative coffee product category, for his distinctive coffee capsules. With a unique taste, chocolate with fruits, coffee with a candy-like aroma, decaffeinated coffee with the Swiss water process as well as light and balanced coffee.
